yes definitely.

20-30 more CFM through lift ranges above .450

Generally speaking the Ls6 intake likes to choke above 6600rpm. You can mitigate this with cam selection but you can make over 30RWHP more peak with the right cam/sheet metal intake setup vs cam/ls6 intake

Thats what I thought. The way I figure it people with 346s dont get a sheet metal intake because it sucks down low. And because this is a track car it would be worth doing. Coach spin this sucker to the moon and get a sheetmetal intake and a stoooopid cam!

Chris also the LS6 intake can only flow 270 cfms I bet a sheetmetal will flow a hell of a lot more, ~300? But even more above the LS6 choke point. So it would be benifitial to use it to make some sick HP up high. Am I thinking of this the right way>?
