Definately good for you.. wish I enjoyed it that much!
I'm running the GM ls6 heads and ls6 cam setup and make 410whp.. with stock gear it did 11.9 @ 118 full weight 6spd. LS6 cams do work!

I'm not interested in winning a drag race. This car is mostly used for cruising in the country at sundown after a hot summer day.

I really liked the LS6 cam and everything in your list with the excepton of the yellow LS6 springs (are not that good of a spring in my opinion) I would get the Comp Cams 918 springs looks good for extra security for the RPMs. And as far a wimpy setup go you said goes LOL) I got 370 rwhp out of this cam in cars I done with the cam and bolt ons go (stock 241 LS1 heads).
As far as the cam selection, If you want some good power all through the rev range and decent mileage I would suggest the gm hot cam. It has a mild idle with good engine vacuum and is often reffered to as a starter cam. Coincidentally I am selling one that I put in my brothers truck for him since it is relatively mild and it was his DD.
