I have the TRex in my car and its not bad at all. It's an A3 so there is some difference there.

But even when it was a 6 speed I didn't have to downshift from 6th to pass or go up a hill.

Thats not good with a heavy car.

Do yourself a favor and have a cam speced for you. Cam size and compresion are not bragging rights, how fast the car is matters.

You will get a lot of misinformed opinions on here and hero worship from kids that do not know this difference.
Thats the best advice I can give.
tha'ts the best advise you'll get here..
get a cam matched to the weight and gearing of your car.your looking to make the most average power in the rpm range you'll be in..
even on the strip,

Were the charts of the LS6 w/MS4 of a Vette, F-body, GTO? Wonder what kind of difference in power you'd see with the different variables and weights? Not really between F-body/GTO but if it was a Vette.

Have you considered the megadeath from Hpe? Its up there with the ms4 and the Trex the reverse split is designed for max power with stock heads and intake to compinsate for air restrictions. I am running it and im making like 325tq @ 3000rpm not bad for stock heads, intake and catback. The specs are 244/242 .612 .610 112lsa. I am about to see how it likes a 150 shot/nano. I will try to dig up my dyno sheet so you can compare it.Also a 3.91 wouldent be a bad idea it would give it a little more ***** red light to red light
