Yeah don't go throwing an MS4 in there just yet (the MS4 is a Texas Speed grind). You may want specify your goals and current/future planned mods. Is this car a daily driver, or is this a track project, what mods do you already have, is it a 6spd or A4 etc. There is a lot of thought that should go into choosing a cam.

You don't have to go MONSTER BIG (lift and duration) cam to go fast and to be competive (within reason). Set a goal in what kind of performance and the goals you want and then do your research on what works good together (proven cam and heads) and go with a proven setup with the extra money you have to spend. I hope it works out for you, GOOD LUCK

Yea....I was just being a smart ***. On a serious note, I love my MS4, depending on your personal goals and budget....we could find a cam that would work best. Just post up what you are looking for from your car and we will try to help you out.

As for me....I love this cam and am very happy with it, and once i get my Midwest Fab' 9 I will be more the happy to post up my times. Hope this helps answer your question, rather then the usual "go buy an MS3, MS4, TR this and Tsunami that, not saying they are bad cams by any means but there are others out there that make just as good or even better power and torque as those.

Oh ya there is someone on here that I've seen that puts down over 600RWHP with the cam I have and 12LBS of boost as well.

I've tried the Voodoo 222/228 and the 232/238-they both work very well. The 223/228 made 640 to the wheels with a D1 and ran 10.4@137mph-stock short. The 232/238 made 430 to the wheels in a 06 C6-it picked up 55 rwhp from just the cam swap.

They are a really nice cam.

Guys what Im looking for is a quick (low 12s) on motor street car. Idle can be choppy no big deal. Stock ls1 heads. My suspension is good. All bmr. 3500 vig is insane. car just doesnt hook up on drag radials. 373 gear. I just want a cam to put me at the upper 300s on hp. slp new design lt, ls6/fast 90 36lb injectors, fuel rails with a nice cam. Not huge just enough for that extra kick. 400+ hp on motor not to the wheels would be fine. Later on 150 shot just to kick my buddys 03 cobra.

Just got my Chevy High Performance in the mail yesterday and there's a whole section that lists various LS1 vendors and what advances they are making. There's a whole section that talks about Lunati and how they are adding many new cams to the VooDoo line. You may like to read that article.

why take a chance on some bullshit marketing scheme.... call up thunder racing, or PM Patrick G hes the cam guru around here and will make a custom cam that is guaranteed to perform well with your combination.

1st off that 640rwhp has ALOT more to do with the SUPERCHARGER then it does with the "voodoo" cam...........

2nd a 430rwhp LS2 is about average. there are plenty of people with higher numbers then that.

3rd Patrick G has alot more then just 2 examples of his cams working. i havent seen 1 person that has had a problem with 1 of his cams.

please show me a voodoo cam that is on the FASTEST CAM ONLY list or the HEADS AND CAM record list. please show me 1. thanks
