Should I hold off and wait til I can afford both, or do you guys think I'd be fine dropping the cam in and running it til I can afford the heads?
If I were you. I would hold off on a cam and get some more boltons. You need things like a lid, headers, ls6 intake, etc... To really get the full potential out of a cam.

Any who, if you decide to go cam, It would be OK to run cam for awhile. There are plenty of people with running a cam on stock heads.

Now I see most of you guys are recommending custom grind. The thing about that is i really would not know what to get. How did you all decide on what grinds you wanted.

Any input appreciated.

^^^^^^^X2 LSA and advance will also have an effect on PTV but yes don't mill or run .040's with 5.3's and a TV2/3
