Head recommendation for my C5Z
First of all, I've got a budget of about 13-1800 and because of it, I was looking at either Patriot heads or the PRC. However, Im not sure where to start looking...I don't know which combustion chamber, intake/exhaust valves to go with?!?! I don't want to bump up compression so high that I can't run 93 octane and I don't want my P/V clearance to be very tight because I drag race the car a lot. Any suggestions? My cam VE are below, according to Mr. G, my compression is at (SCR/SCR) 10.50:1, 8.13:1, and Im using 7.425 prods:0.006 0.050 0.200

I know you said you have $1,800 to spend on heads, is this including the $500 you'll get from selling your stock 243s? They usually go for a minimum of $500 and some go even higher. If you factor that in and you now have $2,300 and could get some nice ported AFR 205s of TFSs and have the best heads out there for a 346 ls1.

Sell your stock 243's and your in some nice horsepower for a very, very good price.
