Default which plugs?

hopefully this is the right place for this, im a newb i have a ls1 out of 99 camaro in my rock crawling buggy. Full tube chassis. motor has polished crank, 11.25 to 1 compression. small chamber heads, 550 lift cam. Howell harness and computer. Sanderson custom headers. run it on race gas. What kind of plugs should i buy i was thinking heat range of 8 but with race gas i just dont know.

Rule of thumb is tr55 N/A,tr6 nitrous and low boost, and 7 and so on for higher boost levels and big shots of nitrous

You will be fine with some TR55 or TR6 plugs from NGK.

with that kind of compression Id say go with a TR6 its a bit colder, and get a good tune and make sure its not too lean other wise say bye bye to #7. The ws6store.com sells the tr6's as does any parts house.

With that much compression you should use the TR6 plug......I get them at advance auto parts for $1.99 a piece.

Try O'Rielly Auto or Advance Auto parts stores. Ask for NGK stock No. 3951 for the Tr55s or 4177 for the Tr6. I know my local O'Rielly sells the Tr6 plus for under 1.60 a plug. Advanced is slightly more expensive.

FI and hi compression guys use the TR6, although for the hi compression guys a tuner will tell you to use them if you have detonation and stick the TR55 if not.

I sell the TR55 and TR6 for $18 delivered or with a set of MSD 8.5mm Superconductors for $68 delivered.

I agree with these guys. Run the TR6's. I'm about to install my heads in a week or so, and I picked up a set of the TR6's because I should be @ atleast 11:1

Didn't you say that there was some new product information that you had coming regarding spark resistance; in the advanced section, about a Month ago? Do you have it? Thanks
