Oh yeah, amazing how chevy can produce such a great engine... and then make it go to work every day for the weakest rearend they have ever made. I supose the only redeeming factor of the Fbody is that it's the cheapest ticket into LS1 world

x2. The trans. mounted torque arm and single exhaust are the other little pet peeves of mine with these cars.

My 99 T/A has 112,xxx on it and 80,xxx miles of that is with heads and cam. Car burns oil, about 1/2 a quart every 1,500 miles. Smokes sometimes too. Still runs great. No issues with the car. The only repairs or expenses other regular oil change etc has been a power window motor, a pair of O2 sensors, and a set of valve springs.

I'm at 114k and am about to do a few more bolt ons before I put in a cam and stall. The car runs like it has 40k on it.

Got 112k on mine. Did the cam swap @ 86k, and I'm about to put some heads on it in a week or so. Still runs great!

I have 82k on mine with H/C since 66k. I also run a 100 shot at the track and she's gone 11.64@121 here at 4400' and has never left me stranded. Hell other than routine maintanence and mods i've done nothing to it. 10 bolt is long gone though...
