Re: Where do I put rev limit on 224/228 581 112 cam? With a smaller TR220/.553 cam I have the limiter set at 6600, and shift at 6400-6500 (6600 once in a while). It pulls hard right up to the limiter.
Colonel is right about the tach. My T/A never shows over 6000 in first, even when it bounces off the limiter. A shift light is the answer.

It's wierd because the first set of 6 gears says "on" after them, the next set says "off". I'll try that though. The highest it will go is 6600.
