Default Ms3 Cam only numbers

Here are the dynojet numbers from getting tuned last Tuesday. It's MS3 cam with mods in sig and fram paper air filter. Let me know what you think? The red lines are after the cam and the blue ones are tuned with headers.

Great results! I'd love to see that car with a set of PRC215s & a fast ported intake combo. I bet she's capable of 480+rwhp easy with that kind of combo!

jesus, the stock cam was making 315whp @ 1800rpm? dayum. lt1 what?

nice peak numbers, appears you lost a ****-ton of midrange torque. i guess with those 410s you won't notice much a difference. what rpm does the engine fall back to after making a shift @ 6500? graph looks peaky.

If you get some time send me over a copy of your tune. I bet I can clear up the losses down low, judging by the graph there's a few things we can do to the tune that I bet will clear it up!!!

Thanks for all of your input. The cam is on a 112 lsa, has stock ls6 intake, fram paper air filter, and pulls like a FREIGHT TRAIN!!!

Does it seem a little soft on the street with the ~45 lb-ft torque loss in the 3000 rpm area? As long as you keep it above 4500 all the time you should feel a difference. That's about a 2000 rpm useful powerband. Good thing it's an M6.

All it needs is more mods: Heads, intake, MAF and more compression to reach its potential.
That graph doesn't lie, looks like tuning can be tweaked a bit.
Fully supported it can achieve great numbers, cam only is not its "forte" (loss in Trq/Hp till 3600 rpm)

Good Roll racer

No, I do not notice a loss in power anywhere. The car is a daily driver and if I am driving around below 4000 rpm "not racing" them I don't need the power anyway. The only time I would use the power is if I were racing. When I am racing every time I shift the rpm's would be above 4000.

wow...something isn't right with that low end....or at least i hope there is!

**** my 233 cam made 330# torque at 3000rpm, compared to your 290# or so.
and you only made about 8# more torque at peak then mine, but you made about 30hp more peak.

and to think you probably gained some torque due to the light flywheel setup. granted you're offsetting that with heavy *** 315s

really need to get a new graph of my setup. planning to after i put the ported FAST on.

nice work on the car, and remember dyno is for internet bragging.....the proof is in the way the car drives and if YOU are happy with it.

Well if I had an electric water pump and a asp underdrive pulley, then I would have about 50rwhp and 30 rwtq over your setup. That would be comparing apples to apples. I guess that when you race you shift at 3000 rpms.
