I was wondering if the 92/92 would be overkill in a cam only car? I was planning on doing the 90/90 setup but just decided to look into the 92/92. I'm not sure if you need specs on the cam, but I can post them if needed.
And to answer your question...no it isnt overkill on a cam only car...youll see a 20hp gain over an ls6 if the cam is over a 23x/23x...We do it all the time!

most i ever see is 10 hp in a cam only car, usually at a slight loss of low end tq,with ported heads it make a much bigger improvement. The 90 and 92 are pretty much identical except for the tb opening.
advantages i see of the fast over heads...
- easily installed at home, if you don't have the ability to do something as major as heads its a nice alternative
- will maximize your setup if you ever do put heads on
- you'll recoup $400 when you resell your ls6 and TB
- obvious hp gains

I did it last march on my cam only car. I picked up 32rwhp/20rwtq over my ls6 intake so basically I say go for it.

Few questions.
Did you dyno before and after on the same dyno?
Did you dyno on the same day and if not were the conditions the same?
Do you have a dyno sheet comparing before and after the FAST?
A FAST intake picked up your cam only car 32rwhp and 20lbft OVER an LS6?

Dynoed the same day and it was actually hotter and a little more humid compared to my session 11 months earlier.
And as for the last question I have my original dyno sheet but not the one when I installed the fast.
Hopefully that answers all you questions if not then contact Futral Motorsports and i'm sure they'll confirm
Also if you need other sources check out the dyno section and search and you'll come up with similar threads about people posting similar results. Not sure if there all cam-only but you get the idea.
I picked up 23/12 by a UNPORTED fast 90/90 w/ nw tb, the cam is big tho.
No BS true gains, no dyno tricks, it was on the same dyno, the weather was hotter and more humid the 2nd go around as well....

Pretty nice testimonies... I fell good about my upcoming FAST install...
I am currently running a G5X3,LS6 heads (unported),ASP pulley,LT's,TD's,30lbinjectors.
Getting ready to install FAST 90,NW90,FT 85mm lid,Delphi Z06 maf.. I "should" see some serious gains by the looks of some of these responses.
Can;t wait..

Just as a reference point, I picked up a bit of softness on the low end when I replaced an LS1 intake with the FAST90/LS2 on my stock heads and cam. I knew I would be doing the h/c swap later, so it was no big deal for me, but if you spend a lot of time at low rpms and are picky, you may not like the change.
With you already being on the LS6 intake, I'd recommend going with a cheap set of heads. Performance for dollar, you will get twice the gain for about the same cost.(IMHO)
