Default Cam question

I have a 2002 a4 camaro z28. Auburn posi 373s, SLP LId, Jet hot lts, Slp LM2.

Was looking to maybe do a cam sometime soon.... Within the next couple months. Just not sure what type of cam to get? Any suggestions... Or ideas of what else i should add before doing a cam?

So many different sizes to choose from.

Goals with the cam? Is it a DD? Are you going to do heads aswell?

Are you looking for something with power under the curve with torque all over or are you looking for a peak power set-up that needs big stall and gears?

I see you already have 3.73's so you can go with a decent size cam for the street.

Not to lazy. Everyone setup is different. As well as i don't know if i will need more things done such as more airflow etc. Yes it is a daily driver. Although I only drive about 5 minutes to work. Maybe 8 miles there and back.

I am probably only doing a cam.. Don't have the $$ to go after heads now. But most likely will do down the road. Just looking for something to give me an overall power gain. As it is a dd to remember. Nothing to crazy. As far as torque... hell idk wtf i'm going to do. I have a problem now keeping tires on the ground on the street now.. At the track it isn't bad though.

^^^like i said tr-224. its one of the best all around cams for these motors with power gains all the way from idle to redline. very reliable and easy on valve springs.

The 224 cam's are proven to make ~400rwhp. I had the speed inc 224 .581 on 112 and made a little over 400rwhp then.

You should at least do springs and push rod's as well.
