Suggestions for rev limit of a 422?
6.0 block bored .030"
Stage III 6.0 heads milled .030" 2.08int & 1.60ex valves
Lunati 4.125" Crank, Lunati 2.100" dished(-12cc) pistons
Lunati 6.125" rods
Comp 244/244 612/612 112LS
Yella Terra 1.7 rockers
Comp push rods & "R" lifters
42# Bosch injectors w/ 255l/hr intank
Ported throttle body
Dynatech LT headers
Custom 4" intake system
I'd suggest setting the shifts at 6500-6600 and the rev limit at 6800. Use good valvesprings, of course.

My opinion is that everyone makes far too much noise about the effect of minor shifts from really oversquare to slightly oversquare to square.
I honestly have yet to see a truly significant difference on a dyno between a 382 stroker and an all-bore 382 WITH PROPER CAMSHAFT SPEC ADJUSTMENTS FOR EACH.
I would run a 114 LSA and expect to peak about 6150, and I would not buzz the motor higher than 6600. Sure you might only lose like 10-20rwhp from 6160 to 6600 but you plan to spray that truck too I gather so I would shift it at 6200 on spray.
My old 422ci was 4.060 bore x 4.075 stroke, and with LS1 stage III heads + 242/242//114 cam it peaked at 6200. With stage III LS6 heads + S1 cam it peaked at 5950 and only slight dropped off up to 6600 but from 6700-7200 it dropped off 50rwhp and more.
