Default Street Sweeper 236/240 630/610 111LSA

Opinions on this camshaft and dyno results from cam only and h/c packages using this cam. Also if anyone has a cam idle clip for this i would appreciate the help. Im hoping you guys have some great things to say about it. im either going with this cam, the MS3, or the new Raptor cam from Thunder Racing. Max effort Street Car.

damn good times for being just cam only..
i used to have one of those SLP 2OTL mufflers,a lot more free flowing than the flowmaster knockoff it replaced..sounded a lot better too..got a lot of compliments on it at the dyno..i'm suprised more people don't run it..it's one of the least restrictive mufflers out there..

Ya, Im really happy with it. I was just hoping to get in the 11's
I got it local at newera, and mike did a good job with the tune. I know theres like 4-5 locals that got this cam last year also. Newera keeps then in stock now, and has a streetsweeper cam install package.
2OTL is great, you still have it I had to do some trading found it local. But the guy liked LT1s so hes a little special. haha j/k jay

no,it was on my old H/C Z/28..definately picked some power over the old muffler and sounded awesome with my LTs and catless Y-Pipe...
does SLP not sell it anymore?

That's a pretty hearty cam for the street. You hit 240 on either side and it's starting to get pretty raunchy, IMO. Guess it's all in the tune and setup, though!

Id really like to put my car in the 11s with cam only for now. Ive seen a ton of guys running the ms3 go into the 11 second field. But however the street sweeper looks to be slightly more aggressive in the lift department.

the Vindicator 240/244 .605/.596 112 LSA. 2400-7000 Rpm Power Band or Street Sweeper 236/240 630/610 111LSA I would go with the street sweeper i am looking for a auto car to make a cam only car with this cam for my wife to Race and hope to get some ten's in good da and 11's on hot days but both are good cam's. Read my sig for info on the vindicator

Here's a clip of my buddy's Formula with the Street sweeper cam. His best time is 11.5 (cam only) after getting used to launching it. I am sure he could squeeze another tenth or two.

I dont understand why theres not much info or hype over this cam. theres a ton of people running the ms3 why not this one? It seems to have the specs of a cam that would perform awesome.
