Search "TR230" on youtube and search just thread titles here with "TR230" and you'll find some. It sounds mean!

yeah it sounds good.

Im trying to find a used TR230 as we speak. As well as a ls6 manifold. I cant wait till I get outta college so i can easily afford all this!! books this semester were $450

love the tr230 cam... with an optimized set up they are a true under dog.... with box stock afr 205's its a real charm... lots of low end torque and pulls hard on the big end... only pit fall is it reaks of gas on cold start up. and no its not in the tune ive battled this notion beforemy tuner is fantastic and the car runs great...its all due to it being a reverse split..

blewbyouss, you must be the only one with that AFR and reverse split 230/224 setup man. espeically with the AFR i know they were made to make power on a traditional split.

I like my X1 here. I'm really not sure If I want to add heads to it, or swap the cam too.

Good luck that. I ended up just buying a new one.

PM quik01ss he has a low mileage X1 for sale. It's alittle more lift, but the TR230 or X1 will net around the same results.

Mods are in my sig, since i have cats, would a torquer be better for me having it has more exhaust? I plan on staying w/ stock heads and geting a ss3600 stall

i have a torquer 2 cam only car and i put down 409rwhp 377 rwtq through a 9inch/ steel driveshaft, ls7 clutch kit, through a catted y-pipe, stock tb. car is dd also

have tr230 in my car and love it. it is true about cold start up with the gas fumes. i am using hp tuners and still cant get smell away.
