who does the stock rocker upgrade?
Most people upgrade their rockers to increase their rocker arm ratio, lighten up the valvetrain components, or both. I don't necessarily think its a strength issue. I have see gobs of power made with stock rockers.
People usually send them to harland sharp to get an actual roller bearing installed instead of the crappy needle bearings they come with. It gives you less friction and if one wears out its not going to send needle bearings all through your engine.

$260 to send them in for the upgrade or $250 to buy the kit and do them yourself. Sounds like a no brainer I guess. Send them in.
