Default '02 z06 cam swap dyno (335rwhp/340 torq)

car dynoed 335rwhp / 340 torq today at MTI..

kind of disappointed but they said the car was pinging uptop like about 5,500rpm.. rev limit is set at 6,500 which is what they took it too.. it looks shaky on the dyno sheet from 5,5 up..

car still has LS1 hot cam tune on it.. from previous owners setup.. i got the z06 cam put it for a more stealthy performance.. MTI guys said too much timing could be causing the pinging..

heres my mods:
'02 z06 cam, MTI lid, gutted cats, magnaflow exhuast

my friends SS that this z06 cam came out of .. got 367rwhp..

Consider throwing a set of Long Tubes on also. I know they woke the hell up outta my LS6 cam. I made 376 rwhp with mods in sig minus the YT rockers TR224 and cutout.

those numbers seem low but in the right range for what mods you have. the ls6 intake and LT's will really open up your car

How do these numbers and powerband differ from the hotcam that was in it?

can you keep the ls1 stock valvetrain, or do you need to replace them when you put in a z06 cam?
