Default Torquer v2 or v3

How would this cam work with the stock stall? I had a stall in my old TA and couldn't stand driving it on the street. Just wondering if I would have any issues with this cam and stock stall

The biggest cam I would recommend running on a stock converter is a 228R on a 114 LSA, and even that is pushing it. You would probably have problems with the car wanting to push through the brakes due to the lack of vacuum and the stock converter being too tight for cams that size.

Is there anything besides a converter that would solve that brake issue ie a vacuum booster or anything

I've personally ridden in a stock stalled 224/224 112 cammed car. The thing was a TURD in the low-mid range due to the tight verter. Anything of ANY size at all, will need a higher stalled converter. You will see a larger gain in performace doing a stall alone vs trying to stuff one of those cams in there with the stock torque converter.

I have a comp 230/224 111+3 similar to a tr230 but less aggressive lobes and a stock stall

I hate it. When put into gear it idles up to 1000rpm and it takes a LOT of pressure to hold the brakes on. Pretty much safer to shove it into neutral every time I'm about to stop.

Feels like crap at heavy but not wide open throttle until the rpms hit 3000, then all of a sudden its like an off/on switch and the car starts pulling like crazy

I can't wait to get a stall to make it less annoying to drive

So with the torquer 2 or 3 would 3000 be a good stall or would I need higher. Remember this is a street car that sees the track maybe once a year

I would go 3000-3200 stall speed. Either one will work great with those cams and still drive good on the street.

I had a 3500 stall in my previous 225/225 cammed car. If I ever do another auto, I'll go bigger on the stall.
