Default L92 Milling

Hey I want to mill my heads down a bit to raise compression, I was told that if I take them down to 60cc chambers I will get 11:1. How much material needs to come off? Anyone have experience with this?

Milling to 60cc is a lot for a l92 head. what cam specs are you running? What short-block?

Stock they are ~71cc, and it's roughly .005" for 1cc off the Chamber.

Aftermarket Pistons and thinner Head Gaskets will help you get your compression easier than milling.

Blah.... too bad I was hoping for a cheapo upgrade. The shortblock is stock, using a Comp ***** Thumpr cam. No budget for new pistons yet. Thanks guys
