Nooooooooooooooo

To summarise, we have one GTO running stock cam and ported 241s and did 417rwhp. He switched to an LS6 with the same ported heads and went 449rwhp.

And these are the only results?

Are there any of these types of results in Vette land Superman09?
Is this car a freak with unrepeatable results?

yea, not many results in vette land. Like the norm, they all seem to do cam only as well. I decided I want to get away from the "sleeper" style and get something that rumbles as well as makes power And maybe whines as well......

I'll be installing a set of AFR heads (milled 63cc) on my stock cam. What's worse, I'll be running them on a set of B&B shorties. I'll be adding a set of Ultra-Gold 1.82s though. Only other mods- Magnaflow w/X, Honker intake, ported TB. As you can probably guess, I want my car quiet. I have all the parts collected but with the holidays coming up, I'm probably looking at January- the earliest I can get my tune anyway.

Decided I really want the car the rumble at stoplights! I don't really care for the sleeper effect, would rather turn heads

Bump
Was wondering if anyone has done this since I have a set of tsp stage 2.5 ls6 and a custom cam but was wanting to to do the heads first just bc I'm curious and don't really have ability for my car to have down time right now due to selling my truck

I remember reading on here about a car that had AFR 205 heads and a stock cam. I don't recall what bolt ons the car had or the exact dyno numbers, but I do remember being impressed by the results and that the owner was quite pleased. The car had a very stout looking power band in the 'street used' rpm range.

You will probably end up buying PRs twice, but they are fairly cheap. Other than that, I really don't see much wrong with doing the heads now and the cam later if that's the way you need to do it.

I'm really just curious but my main concern is getting someone in my area to be able to tune it to it's full potention and I have a set of fast 36 lb injectors should I go ahead and put those in as well or are they not needed
