Default Help!!!!please

i parked my car outside the shop yesterday and it snowed and iced all night and day. at about 6 i went to start the car and as soon as it started..it sounded like the piston was hitting the parming lot and then back to the hood...i cant get a vid i know it would help.i have 50+ oil pressure and it smells like raw fuel.....anyone ....dont butter it up just give it to me strait anything helps thanks guys -ROSS

rod bearing is very possible, change your oil and see what you can find

there was no metal on the dip stick...which still doesnt mean anything

My car had a similar sound - turned out to be a broken valve spring. Lucky for me, it broke at idle and didn't even kiss the piston. You might want to do a compression test and see what you find.

guys i forgot to post on this thread some more so her it is, my guess is hydrolocked. it snapped a rod and cracked the block in 3 places. we pulled the drain plung and only anitfreeze came out(looked just as good as it did in the radiator) then some oil came out after words...we are still kinda trying to figure out how it happed...but i picked up my 6.0 fridayand soon to be a 370. any forged parts out there let me know.I have a good crank but rods, and pistons are needed thanks guys..oh and a ported oil pump...and maybe a cam lol

not enough coolant and cracked the block with the cold, or other issue?
