OK i have a 5.3 truck..(in sig)..and i have a set of stock 2001 #317 6.0 heads..i want to sell them but nobody wants to buy them..would it give me any power if i put em on my truck? thanks! and is it worth it?

Check the common questions at the top of the internal engine page, it gives specs for both types of heads.

thats all good info but if you dont know anything about head then that post does not say if there is a hp increase or decrease

It would lower you comression severly. The intake runners are larger. So you lose compression and velocity. Both hurt torque directly. To answer you question, no it would not be a good idea to change out the heads. Get your 5.3's ported and then you would go somewhere.
