Technically not needed but a good idea - especially if there are a few miles on them.

Well they only have 36k on them. My mechanic was insisting that I didn't need them, but I always like to be sure.

Not cheap. Pulling the heads off to do lifters is not what I call cheap, or quick. Oil pump yes, but not lifters.

Anyone else have an opinion?

1. Ls2 lifter trays from the Ws6 store!
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=2406
2. Water pump gaskets (left & right)..
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1770
3. Front cover gasket
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1771
4. Front cover crank shaft seal
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1768
5. GM MLS head gaskets
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1618
6. I would go with these ARP's! Your already gonna spend 100bux to get head bolts, so why not a few more and get these. So when you get your HEADS you can re-use them!
Just my .02 though!
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1369
7. I would recommend you get the long one so you can mount the pulley back on, but you wil need a new crank bolt

These are a few item that came to my mind cause I am in a middle of a heads and cam swap my self, I could of had it done but since the cam Im using has aggressive ramp rates I didnt want to chance it with an Ls2 chain and it breaking on a set of Trickflows. So Im gonna save a few bucks and get the C5R chain from Katech!
Might as well UPGRADE since Im going in there, I always say! LOL
Goodluck with your Modding!
