Default My dealership blows *****!

I'm doing a cam/springs/rods/chain swap on my 1998 Z28. The problem is my dealership sucks. I ordered a main seal, water pump gaskets and extra valve spring locks. They told me 3 days and two weeks later all I've gotten are 1 water pump gasket and the wrong engine cover gasket. What I'm wondering is : is there anywhere else I can find these parts?

Or you can drive down to your local Autozone or Advanced and buy all those seals on the spot. I have a dealer account with Advanced and they always have those gaskets in stock.

Why do you need extra locks? Unless you lose yours you don't need any extras.

Give us a call or you can order online. You get better prices than Advance and Vatozone, and better parts too!

Here's an example: Advance vs Texas Speed

With us you get authentic GM bolts and gaskets (or ARP if you choose to do so) for less money.

^^^^i think i would upgrade to the arp gaskets...they sound dreamy. lolz

alot of dealerships just dont care. big problem. then they wonder why they are going out of business. cannot keep sales up from just new cars alone.

I'm a tech at a Cadillac dealership in Orlando and my parts guys are the best.

I'm sorry this gives you guys a bad impression of GM dealership service.

You would think in these hard economic times they would go above and beyond to make a customer happy.

Good luck.

TSP, or Scoggin Dickey. My SDPC stuff was top notch thanks to some John guy there

It would have been here the day after I ordered it if it wasn't for Fedex. Fedex held my **** for 3 days because of the 1 day of ice in Texas.

I take it you live in the OKC area?

Their pretty good at keeping decent inventory. I did order most of my parts from Scoggin Dickey though.
