newb question on crank position sensor
I can't remember where I heard this, but someone had told me that a green o-ring on the crank position sensor meant it was for a 24x reluctor wheel, and a black o-ring meant it was for a 58x reluctor wheel. Is this at all true?
I have a 98 LS1 w/98 PCM, stock crank, but a black o-ring on my crank position sensor (it was the same one that I pulled off the engine during the teardown).
I should be ok right??
