I think the difference in power between the 112 and the 114 is like 300-400 rpm. My 224 112 had a hard lope to it and did hunt for the idle at times but with a tune this would have all gone away. I would say get the 112 if your going to get a tune. If not get the 114 if driveablity is your main concern.

If you're going to be running N/A and emmissions don't mean anything, then get the 112. If you're planning on spraying or are concerned about passing smog, then I would say get the 114.
