Default LS7 springs and LS7 lifters, good enough?

Will they hold a 580 or so lift? I want a 224/580ish cam in my 5.3, looking for a good, reliable set up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If the stock lifters need replacing, LS7's will work fine. I would opt for a better spring. Something like some comp 918's or PAC 1218's...something that is rated for .600" lift or higher.

I was concerned with the sring preload too much for the LS7 lifters. But if the 918's are ok for the lifters, then good. Thanks.

Preload is determined by PR length.

Your are refering to spring seat pressure which is determined by spring rating and installed height.
