Looking for advice on a cam
I have a 2004 gto ls1 that im installing into a 70 gto. Im looking for a cam to give the engine a better sound (and performance). This is going to be a DAILY DRIVER all summer long so I just need a cam that is alittle more than what is in there. I dont want the car to run rough but a very slite rough idle is ok. What cam options do I have? What about valve springs? Will the stock computer be ok with it? Thanks for the help
P.S. The car will have long tube headers on it if that makes a difference on the cam.

TR224 114. light cam idle (you know its there) and very smooth for DD and has plenty of low end around town. if your exhaust is quiet you would almost think it drives like stock. you could go with a beehive from PAC to take care of the valve springs.

x2 on this cam but if your auto you'll still need a converter!

Since the car is a little heavy, you might want to think the 228R like said above just for a little better go and keep the low end torque. Stay on the 114 LSA for whatever you get.
as mentioned above 224 or the 228. as for lope, if you want it soundly, go with 112lsa. 114lsa will sound like a stock corvette cam but just slightly lopey. thats my opinion on 114. and as stated u will need a higher then stock stall converter.
