I was going to install the LS3 tensioner with the Katech chain. Is this overkill and should I just reinstall the V block the LS2 came with?

Hey all, i'm about to bolt my front cover back together, I purchased an LS-2 chain, but I just recently realized that the build manual indicates mandatory crank and cam sprocket replacement with the chain. Just curious, how many miles do you all have on your chain only swaps? Did you keep the stock LS-1 crank and cam sprockets?

I replaced all sprockets at 50K when the rollmaster dual went it.
