Yeah I get Low Mile Ls2 for 2200 all day long......

i was in the same boat having to drive my fbody in stop and go miami traffic to and from work. i decided that instead of my poor ss having to suffer through that i spent 1.5k and got a civic hatchback. the money saved in gas/insurance has already made it pay for itself.

The only thing extra you'll have to buy would be valve covers and coil brackets for the 99 up engines and you'll need to swap your injectors if you get a 99-00 cause they use 26lb injectors where the 98's & 01-02 use 28.8lb injectors(not sure on 03 up). These will interchange. You can get your valve covers and coil brackets with coils on ebay for cheap.
I am still using my 98 PCM and wiring harness with my with my modified 04 block. There is no need to swap the 28.8# fuel injectors, your 98 PCM was flased for them as stock (OEM) equipment.

That warranty is a GM warranty guaranteed to be good at ANY GM dealer. ANY. over the entire US. and when we ship, it normally takes 4 days MAX to get delivered.

all those engines, plus more ALL ON HAND ready to ship same day that they are ordered (before 5 central)

BUT on a tech note...for break in oil def use one of the 2. either joe gibbs driven break in oil, or valvoline VR1 with some GM engine oil suppliment. DO NOT trust anything else. You can get that stuff at alot of places.

What is the part number for the GM oil supplement?

Valvoline VR1 racing oil already has a large amount of ZDDP. I would say that plus GM EOS would be a bit overkill. The GM EOS would definitely be recommended with any newer API SM spec oils that have low ZDDP (700-800 ppm)

No it does not. Have you looked at the latest figures on the amount of the additive, it has gone down in the VR-1 from what it used to be. We used to sell this plus a small bottle of the EOS. So much so, that we went from using it to now offering the Joe Gibbs Driven oil exclusively. This is the oil we include for breaking now in all of our short blocks, and we also sell it over the counter. We offer the full line, but normally the break in oil is good enough. We carry all of it, including the assembly lube.

Plus there is no such thing as overkill.

your asking us for other options, yet when someone comes up with a MUCH better one (swapping to a NEWER ls1) you keep telling yourself that its too much work. If you cant swap over a couple of sensors and some injectors, theres no way your going to be able to swap a motor.

end of bashing... sorry

Jesus Christ!

OP - it you NEED this so bad right now go to the junkyard or on Ebay or check the classifieds on here and find an engine for your car. What I would really suggest is getting another car for that 3500 bucks considering your still in school and this car is your only mode of transportation. Find something to get you from A to B trust me its worth it - Camaros make horrible DDs I don't care what anyone says.
