Default Are these LS1 or LS6 valve springs?
A friend gave me these valve springs and he told me they came off of his LS6.. I thought all LS6 springs were Yellow..??



Also, if these are not LS6 springs, what does this color line mean?



If these are Stock LS1 springs, what is the Max RPM you would recommend for them?

I do not know what they are but i would not run LS1 springs over 6250rpm.

I think blue and yellow stripes are ls6. Ls1 are natural?

The only ones I know of are blue and yellow. The entire spring is colored.

I used to have the blue ones which I think was good for .525 lift. I think the yelllow springs are good for like .560 +

i dont think my factory springs had any stripe or color at all.

Ive always known LS6's as blue or yellow full coloured? Ive got some 100 miles of useage yellows available

I had some '03 Vette heads that were 241's, so LS1, and they had the natural stripe like that.

The LS6 springs sitting on my shelf are solid yellow. So I don't know what those are...might be stock LS1 or truck or something.

i havent taken apart a production head, but any ls6 spring has always been colored from the dealer.

ive seen std ls1 springs give up at 57-5800. i wouldnt even recommend them for a stock cam.

Man.. there is two LS1's in my town.. both Cammed, Both sound sick, both look good... BUT ive never heard either cars WOT... I wanna see what it will do..
