Maybe you would be better served asking one of them to spec you a cam...for your car...

 

Im gonna guess anyone who dont have an off the shelf grind ie. ms4, vindicator, 224r and have had someone spec them out a custom grind such as Pat G or pred z. Im interestd in seeing some of thier combos too.

Patrick G runs a business on spec'ing people cams on their set-up. I'd be pissed if I were him and your asking for basically free advice for a cam from others that he spec'ed. If you want a recommendation for your set-up. Ask him, not other people based on their set-up. 25 dollars for a spec'ed cam is not a lot of money.

its not really fair to the cam gurus whos business your cutting into or the person who was willing to pay to get a custom cam spec'd for there exact setup. I spent the coin having a cam spec'd and you want me to just hand it off to you?

a lot of people even just post their custom grinds in their sig, if you have lift, dur at .050, ICL, LSA and the type of lobe (what most people post in their sigs) you basically have the grind of the cam, just asking people to post it in 1 section isn't all that unreasonable

My cam was speced by one of those two guys. lol. Actually, I got speced cams by both of them. Never said I wasn't confident in my cam or did I say the cam was for me.

 

How similar were the recommendations?

 

Boy oh boy no one wants to share. I don't have a custom bro, just an off the shelf g6x3. Was in my 346, and was pretty big, re used it in my new 402 and has great manners now. I guess the extra cubes tamed her a bit. With that being said look at my sig, the numbers suggest otherwise. LOL. GOt torque !?

 

I'm going to send Patrick G $25 dollars to spec one for me. I'll post the results, my goals and complete set up. stay tuned
