Default water pump question

well everytime i park my car, i notice that it leaves behind a puddle of coolant. so i guess my question is... is the water pump going out or do i simply need to replace the gasket? is any way i can tell just by looking? really need help. getting tired of buying coolant.

OFF TOPIC: also, any idea where i can get a throttle cable?

If its leaking from the weep hole under the center of the water pump you need a new pump. Where is it leaking? You need to figure that out first.

Throttle cable:

my water pump was leaking out of the weep hole i replaced it with a gm water pump with new gaskets and torqued bolts and not even 8,000 miles it's leaking out of the weep hole again, so it's possible the pump needs replacing, just put a coolant pressure tester on it and determine where your leak is
