Default Valve Train noise reduced with Yella Terras?

My search doesnt seem to be helping me.
Im beginning a head and cam swap and I have been reading that alot of people experience loud valve trains. I also briefly read that the yella terra roller rockers eliminate that noise? Does anyone have any imput on this? I will be installing a MTI X1 camshaft and MTI Stage I heads. Any advice with installing these would be appreciated also..they are stock ratio 1.7 and my push rod is stock length 7.400 the heads are milled slightly but not enough to interfer and Ill be installing LS7 lifters. Thank you

I have read where some have said Yella Terra's helped quiet their valvetrain but I can't say for sure. The Yella Terra's have shown good results and a lot of guys runnin them. I have a brand new set never opened if you decide to go that route!

From what I've read if shimmed properly, preload set right with the right size pushrod, they'll help quiet it down quite a bit. I realize what I just said applies to stock rockers as well, but there's quite a tedious process to setting up YTs properly w/ wipe patterns and the above mentioned things. I'd get the Ultralite models too.

youll hear alot both ways. Ive thought about going with these too but I just learned to accept that the motor is just going to be noisy!
Did you measure out your proper PR length? Made a huge difference with mine.

I ran them on my SS. I set the valvetrain up with perfect geometry and it was nice and quiet compared to the stock heads, 918 setup with stock rockers. It still made more noise than stock but you will have that with stiffer springs and a larger cam.

Well I didn't actually install anything yet, I just heard a lot of people experience noise. I bought a set of yella terras but if it isn't going to make that big of a difference there really isn't any reason to keep them. So ill just sell them. But if they will make a significant difference I'll keep them. I understand you cant just bolt them on.. that's the same story for mostly everything if you plan on doing it right.

I've installed about 10 sets and never noticed the valvetrain to be quieter than before.
