How quickly can Comp grind a cam?
This is for an ARE stroker, so they have full specs on the motor. The cam that was sent was has XE lobes. I ordered XE-R lobes. Its on a 112 LSA, I ordered a 114 LSA. There were supposed to be a set of comp lifters, no lifters were in the box. I paid for Cometic gaskets, I got genuine GM parts head gaskets instead. The head gaskets they sent are smaller than the bore. Plain GM head bolts in the box. Heads should not have been milled any, but they sent a shorter pushrod (7.350)??? The heads look right. Could they have sent me someone elses order?
I have not called ARE yet, but will do so first thing in the morning. Anyway, back to my original question: How quickly can I get a custom Comp cam?
When I talked to Eric at CompCams, he told me that it would take them 10 working days to get it out the door. So it may be a day or two.
