Difference between these two cams?
I can't answer your question but I just had a custom cam grind in that range....it is a 232/236 .595/.578 113+3 based upon a recommendation of TEA to go with my TFS 215 heads! Have to install it soon!
That's all? Why would anyone choose an xer lobe that's more aggressive and harder on valve springs for such a minimal gain? The duration is very close between the two cams, but the extra lift on the xer should help make more power everywhere through the rpm band.
look at my cam it is a 230/230 xfi/x-er .612/.592...and i gained around 55-60rwhp with it...how much more am i giving up to a donkey dick cam...
24x/24x .64x/.64x maybe 12-15rwhp at most...and that is peak, i know i will probably lose avg under the curve...
