Yeah this is a good point…you give up some hp down low 5hp and gain 10hp up top (diff 5-10hp)…but is that small difference worth the street manners difference(yes a ms4 cam be tuned to drive on the street but it wont be the same as a 230 cam, just as a 230 cam will not be like a 224 cam, etc…)…it becomes a personal choice…there is no such thing as a good cam or bad cam, just matter of opinion…like arguing which supermodel is hotter…one might have better **** while another has a better ***…each have their benefits…

then take all the opinion or bullshit which ever you want to call it and try to make an educated decision of which fits your build…

yea, i agree, it seems like something like a tsunami is a really good absolute medium. you notice on the grahps its right in between the cam you run and something like an ms4, power wise, tq wise and streetability. its really all dependent upon how hard/high you wanna spin it, how light the car will be, etc. all that plays a part in where you want your powerband. but thats a DAMN good 60'. whats your dad's car 60'?

He has a PT4400, ms3, stg 2.5 5.3 heads, FAST 90/90, 3150 raceweight, 4.11 gears, full bolt ons… he was pulled a best 60ft of 1.366 and ran 10.43 at 126.3mph in -500 DA…we both think his yank pt4400 is too loose/not efficient enough up top, he is slipping 13% on the top end…this winter he got a nice 8” circle D top of the line converter which is supposed to be in the single digits for slip on the top end and give a lot better 60ft, it is around a 5000 stall…we are hoping he will be in the 1.32-3 range with it…

So it has to be somewhere where he is giving up power…someone else with similar setup is has pulled a 1.31 at 130mph…with the same circle D converter…we will post up the results when we get the car together it is almost done…
