valve spring/cam color code?...
valve spring/cam color code?... i just picked up a motor recently off this guy, and the valve springs and cam have fresh markings of blue or green paint on them... he said the springs and cam are aftermarket.... i didnt tear down the motor because it is a fresh motor and you an tell by looking at the bottom end. but what does the color mean?? does anybody know what type of stuff it is or?? i tried to search this but i didnt find anything.. please help im just trying to figure out what parts are in the motor without taking it apart... so hopefully somebody on here can help me, thanks.. matt
