well i guess if you had long super skinny alien arms you could pull the cam out and then reach in and pull the lifters out, hehehe. id just go ahead and pull the heads though....

Thinking about pulling the heads and putting new ported stage 2's with a cam in whyle im in there.

look on your header primaries. is there an EGR provision? if its blocked off, it may be leaking or the provision might be cracked. check to see a crack in the primaries.

i had the same thing and it sounded just like that.

im going pushrod first... just becuz i dont want it to be a lifter for him nor anyone easier is always better

sweet, im glad for you.

im thinking about checking mine. ive got a slight tick when the motor is warm. it kinda sounds like a belt, but i dont think it is.

how bad was it bent?

Haha yeah the rods are all stock, id rather bend a pos stock rod then bust a lifter and have to pull heads, yeah i put a new stocker back in but ill be pulling the motor to add a fiew "parts" soon
