Well, for expert advise I recommend you talk to Rob at Lamar Walden, that is where I go

As an amatuer with a checkbook I recommend getting the complete rotating assembly - again that is what I did, and I am more than happy with the result

Mines much smaller than yours...............my checkbook that is.
I'll have him do the work, but I want to see if I can shave off some cost by purchasing the parts myself.
Glad to hear yours is making that type of rwtq!! That's what I'm looking for to.

Walden has decent prices on strokers. I thought about piecing it out 1 part at a time. You can get some good deals on new in box stuff and it is easier to shell out 1 or 2g at a time. However, If a warranty issue pops up it is much easier to deal with if all parts came from the same place.

Jim, dont piece it together, I guarantee it will cost you in the long run. Stick with ONE shop you TRUST and let them take care of it.

Good advise. BTW the ONLY way that car will handle more power is with sticky tires, in the past you have not been inclined to beef up the rear. More power on stock tires is a waste of $$$ IMO.
As far as picking a shop and sticking with them, damn straight. In my case it is Lamar's shop, and I am pleased with every step. HP increases are a journey, not a destination. A stroker will definitely help your RWHP some and your torque a bunch, but without sticky tires you are doomed to remaining a high 12 second car. You have the power now to be a low 12/high 11 second car. IMO save your money and buy some tires, replace the rear when it breaks (because break it will).
