The 222/226 is designed to be an improvement over the original TR224. It has a much more advanced lobe design and it also has slightly better valve events. Overall it should make better power while maintaining the good streetability that the TR224 is noted for.

how will the powerband compare to the TR224. I am looking for low end cruising power as much as I am power at 6k. Thanks.
