Default cam suggestions

well im a cam noob so i was wondering what kind of cam that would be best for me. i plan get ls6 heads and longtube headers and nitrous and some other stuff. now im looking for more acceleration and torque in a cam. not sure what kind what specs or anything please help.

Well reading the stickies would be a great start and also giving more info on your car too. DD,track car, etc...

Start doing your research. Your going to end up debating on a few. I'm personally going with Tick Performance in NC where i live. They have their own cam called the polluter. Good luck

Check out Vengeance Racing.. Its what I am going with and they have cams of all sizes to suit your needs.

Just float around and see what's out there. Go to youtube.com and what idle and rev clips they have so you know what they sound like. Like everyone else said, just do some searching and find out what you want in a cam. lol

Solid roller .726 lift. lol

The car is his daily driver but he wants to push over 400rwhp on some ported ls6 heads, cam, 100 shot wet, ported TB, LT's, cat-back, lid, etc...

The car is an M4 with 60k miles. I believe he wants something to daily drive on, but to give him the power he wants when he needs it. Idle should be lopey but not so much to where he doesn't have brakes or it want's to stall when it's cold.
