AFR's ported LT1 heads aren't much if any better than a ported LT4 head. This is based on what several LT1 owners told me, some owning AFR LT1's.

My buddy is a hardcore LT1 guy and he told me AFR's are great heads. But I won't really base that on what they will do for LS1's. No one here will have an educated opinion until they come out and we see some results. There is nothing that anyone can say right now that really matters.

There is some info on thier site, http://www.airflowresearch.com, about thier heads, but as 11 Bravo said, only time will tell.

Hey anything that starts off with less volume and more material is a better casting to start with IMHO.
BTW here is the first info of it actually out

Now throw a LS6 or LSX intake on it an see what it flows. The numbers are really good for a 205cc port.
