Since it just sounds like you want a little chop and some go, I would say do a 224* or maybe a 228* with a 3200-3400 stall.

It also depends on whos tuning it as well. The cam in my car is in my sig and is tuned good enough where my gf or mom can drive it with no problems and it has no headers and STOCK gears.

Why are you "set" on a 112 LSA? With that tight LSA, its going to have more overlap which means its going to bleed off compression and may be lazy down low (under 2000 RPM's),especially with a stall and no gears.

Would those work with a '99 T/A that has stock tranny and i BELIEVE stock gears?

Yes, but you'll need a shift kit, tuning and trans cooler.
