Default Need a couple of LS1 engine specs

I am trying out various LSx engine combinations using Engine Analyzer software.

To correctly calculate the compression ratio I need to know what the normal deck height for is.

I also need to know what the head gasket compressed thickness is and what the head gasket bore diameter is.

If anyone knows these specs I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks

Let me know when you have the model all done. I knw someone who was trying to do an Ls1 model, and didn't have all the intake and ports specs, so gave up...

Correct me if this is wrong, but I believe deck height is 9.400".

What I meant, is the stock pistons are .006 out of the hole.

Thanks for the specs. That is exactly what I needed. That is really surprising to me that the piston to deck height is positive.

I am used to dealing with SBCs that generally have about -.025 of deck height. I guess that they make up for it with that thick head gasket.

J-Rod,

I am basing my model off of an LS1 model that came with Engine Analyzer.

Please PM me with the specs that you are looking for and I'll try to help out. If your friend is using Engine Analyzer 3.0b (I'll have version 3.2 on Friday) I'll be glad to send you the file.
