Telling 241 from 243 Castings

2002 Camaro SS, how would I tell the difference between 241 castings and 243 castings?

theres always the casting number...

First give away would be the head would say "243" instead of "241". If they were off the car then you can look at the exhaust ports, they will be in the shape of a "D".

Are you saying you want the casting numbers. Because 243 and 241 are the casting numbers

Will either say 241 or 243 on the drivers side head on the front corner.

Heads on both sides are identicle. Casting # is on both heads. 243 and 241 are the casting #'s.
