If Im not mistaken the ASA cam only has a 52X lift to it. The stock ZO6 springs should work fine with that setup IMO. FWIW: stock ls6 cams have a 551 lift to them i believe

This cam is designed for ASA racing. (GMPP '03 catalog)

DURATION @.050
226* / 236*

LIFT
.525" / .525"

LOBE CENTERLINE
110*

The hotcam has the same lift as well as the Z06 cam. They both use the LS6 springs. The catalog does not indicate that the springs come with the camshaft as a kit. The spings come along with the hotcam as a kit though. The spings PN:12565117.

Good luck.

Just use the 02 ls6 springs. The lobes on the ASA cam are not very aggressive.

LS6 springs are fine. Dual springs would definately be overkill. I ran LS6 springs for over a year with NO issues at all on my ASA set up
