How difficult to replace valvesprings?
If you are pressurizing the cylinder with shop air, the TDC method wont work. As soon as you pressurize the cylinder, that pushes the piston right back down. If you do not have something to compress the cylinder, then make sure you use the TDC method.

This is a 98 engine with stock heads and stock cam.
Is there something particular I need take care of?
I'll probably replace springs, seals, rockers and pushrods 'cause the engine has 100'000 miles and makes valvetrain noises + probably valvefloat at high rpm.
I was thinking hardened pushrods, new stock rockers and new stock beehive style springs (like those for the L92)

I used an air compressor to hold up my valves, and crane cams valvespring compressor which works great. It's not a hard job, even with the engine still in the bay. Obviously #7/8 cylinder won't be as easy as #1/2, but it's not impossible.
