Default Advice Needed: Order of Mods...

I'm looking into doing a nice H&C setup at the end of the summer, but I'm looking for some advice on what mods to add and when.

Current setup:
2000 Camaro Z28 6-speed
Lid
Ported + Polished TB
LS6 intake
FLP Longtubes w/ Offroad Y
Hooker Catback
342 rwhp 349 rwtq on a Mustang Dyno

I'd really like to do a 450+rwhp H&C setup (470-480 would be ideal)

Should I get the Heads, Cam, Springs, Pushrods, YT Rockers, etc... now and worry about the FAST 90/90, 85mm Lid + MAF, Upgraded Headers (Kooks/ARH) later...
-OR-
Should I get the Upgraded Headers, FAST90/90, 85mm Lid + MAF, UD Pulley, etc... now to be prepared for the H&C later down the road?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I still have quite a while to think about it, but I'd like to get a few things straightened out ahead of time.

Thanks

Honestly, i'd do the rear axle first, then H/C, then other accessories

You'll want to do the tune last, so you'll want to take your second option. Elsewise, you'll screw up your tune.

I've had a nice dynotune done on my current mods, but I wouldn't mind getting a tune after each round of mods either. After the initial tune, I'm only really paying for dyno time... so it won't be too expensive.

Also, the car will be almost exclusively street only with an occasional trip to the track. I'll probably be on street tires for a while, so I'm not horribly concerned about the rear just yet.

I guess the other question would be:

Is it even worth it to go from FLPs to Kooks or ARH.
I assume that I would see pretty decent gains from the newer style headers , 85mm Lid/MAF, and the FAST 90/90. Especially with a stout H&C combo.

I would do the h/c first then upgrade the smaller things later like fast 92/maf/kooks.

Those other things will consume a lot of money and delay doing h/c. I promise you will enjoy hearing a cam in your car over having a fast 92 and kooks.

having that much power and not being able to use it sucks. if you don't do the rear make sure you have the money to replace it when it does break

AGREED!!!! I know you want more power but do the rearend first. If your running street tires a H/C car will be slower than a bolt on car on the street because all you will do is spin until 85. If you do hook BOOM the rear is gone. I have broken a 10 bolt shifting in to second on the street. Just because you don't go to the track won't save you. I saw a guy at the track last week with a 408 and a 200 shot on a ten bolt he made it about 80 feet and later.
More power will not always make you faster. Good luck I know it is hard not to get more power for that kind of money but it is worth it.
