well i finished my build a month or so back, finally got around to taking some pics. The engine has around 450 miles on it so far, I've only had her to around 4500 rpms and this thing is an absolute BEAST. Does the engine compartment look too stock, do i need to put a huge LS7 decal on the intake? Or do you like the look, i tell most ppl, "I just got a cam" ![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)

did you have to have any custom work done for the motor to fit? what tranny are you running with that? im just as curious as the other on the wet sump setup. ive been toying around with this idea of an LS7 swap and would like more info if possible from OP

its a resleeved ls1 block, so i didn't have to mess with any sensor adapters (other than the MAP sensor). The motor fits perfect, not mods needed. I thought i might run into some problems along the back of the intake, it has a little less clearance than an ls6 intake. The rotating assembly is just LS1 style(reluctor wheel, crank snout) but the pistons are specifically made for LS7 head(correct valve reliefs). $$$$$ lots and lots of it, would have been a little more to get a crate motor, but it wouldn't have the high end aftermarket parts i wanted.

I think you should get the new 104mm lid and maf from Fast toys performance... I think you would gain some hp.

Looks good and too any one that is not LSX motor "in the know" they would never know the difference.
The things that indicate that "something is afoot at the circle K" are:
The MAF
The intake manifold
The fuel rails
The head casting number on the driver side head
the throttle cable/ cruise control cable bracket
The 4 bolt throttle body
But, like I said, those would only be noticeable to the LSX enthusiasts.
